Illinois Population Map Animation - Lab 9 Part 1 Task 1

In this first task for lab 9, we used ArcGIS to create an animated map that shows the population of Illinois counties from 1800 to 2010. Each map key-frame is 10 years (one decade) apart from each other and we made it so the animation has is symbolized on a yellow to orange symbology. Ryan Facks - zID 2027325

Illinois Population Map Animation in 3D - Lab 9 Part 1 Task 2

In this second task for lab 9, we created the same animated map as we did in task 1 part 1, except we made it 3D. I used my middle mouse button to create a isometric view of the state of Illinois to better capture the 3D aspect of this. I oriented it so that Chicago was in the "top" of the map because I knew that the population "tower" would be far taller than any of the other counties and I did not want to block them. Again, we used the same yellow to orange symbology for our counties with a light gray border to help tell their boundaries apart. Ryan Facks - zID 2027325
